Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet and welcome visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Notify employees of visitor arrivals and ensure visitors are directed to the appropriate person or department.
- Maintain owners calendar.
- Remind the owner of upcoming meeting.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Handle Payments from customers.
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner.
- Maintain clean restrooms.
- Manage and organize files, both electronic and physical.
- Schedule appointments and meetings, and coordinate calendars.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations.
- Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock and ordering new items.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as data entry and invoicing.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by management.
- Make Bank Runs when needed.
Job Requirements for a Administrative Assistant
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Prioritization and time management skills.
- Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information..
Pay
- $17-18 an hour based on experience and knowledge in the role.
