HVAC Apprentice

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and dependable HVAC Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone eager to begin a career in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) industry. As an HVAC Apprentice, you will work closely with experienced technicians to learn how to install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems. This is a hands-on role with a strong emphasis on training, safety, and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist HVAC technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems.
• Carry tools and materials to and from the job site.
• Learn to interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Help with diagnosing system issues and performing basic repairs under supervision.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Load and unload equipment and supplies.
• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures.
• Attend required training sessions and participate in ongoing development.
• Provide excellent customer service when on job sites.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interest in learning the HVAC trade.
• Willingness to work in a variety of environments (indoors/outdoors, rooftops, crawl spaces).
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (preferred).
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team setting.

Work Conditions:

• Full-time schedule; may require occasional evenings or weekends.
• Exposure to loud noises, varying temperatures, and physically demanding tasks.
