Job Description

Air Serv of Central NC is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team. This is a full-time position that requires a very reliable individual that is a proven self-starter, multitasker and problem solver with a positive attitude, who is trained in customer relations and is able to work as a team member to provide superior service to our customers.

In this position, your primary responsibilities will be to answer incoming calls quickly and professionally, schedule service repairs, replacement quotes and preventive maintenance visits while working closely with other team members to coordinate scheduling. Make outbound calls to customers to confirm scheduled appointments, follow up on recent appointments and schedule upcoming maintenance visits. Take and deliver messages as needed for other team members, ensure messages are received and follow up as needed, making sure that customers’ needs are met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answering incoming calls quickly
  • Schedule customers for service repairs, replacement quotes and preventive maintenance visits
  • Direct incoming calls to correct team member as needed
  • Take and deliver messages as needed
  • Ensure customers are followed up with in a timely manner
  • Maintain customer files through data entry, filing and scanning
  • Issue purchase orders to technicians for parts
  • Completes customer satisfaction calls to customers
  • Contact customers to schedule inspections, service and planned maintenance appointments
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must like being on the phone all day with customers
  • 3+ years customer service required
  • Have strong listening and communication skills
  • Problem solver who can resolve problems with little help
  • Must have a positive, professional and helpful attitude.
  • Dependable
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel and Word)
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Efficient multi-tasker
  • Team Player who is willing to pitch in to support other co-workers
  • Clean, neat and professional appearance
  • HVAC knowledge would be greatly desired
