At Aire Serv of West Orlando, we’re looking for a motivated and skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. We serve both residential and light commercial customers with a focus on quality, integrity, and exceptional service. This position offers industry competitive pay ranging from $25–$35/hour, depending on experience, certifications, and performance. What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll work on a variety of heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in homes and small businesses throughout West Orlando. Your daily tasks will include:

·        Diagnosing HVAC issues and providing expert repair and maintenance services

·        Advise on system upgrades, improvements, and service plans — confidently educate customers on maintenance best practices (e.g., filter changes) and recommend solutions that enhance system performance and longevity

·        Installing systems including units, ductwork, thermostats, and related components

·        Brazing and soldering piping to connect components

·        Cleaning coils, clearing drain lines, and lubricating motors during preventive maintenance

·        Calibrating and testing components such as thermostats, timers, and solenoids

·        Using diagnostic tools (gauges, voltmeters, leak detectors, airflow instruments) to ensure safe and effective system operation

·        Providing clear, professional communication with customers and teammates

·        Maintaining a clean, organized work environment and accurate documentation

Must-Have Qualifications

·        5+ years of hands-on HVAC experience (residential and/or light commercial)

·        Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record

·        Positive attitude and professionalism

·        Strong communication skills

·        Your own HVAC tools

·        EPA Section 608 Certification – Minimum Type II required (Universal Certification preferred and considered a bonus!)

·        Completion of HVAC training or an accredited apprenticeship program
