HVAC Technician (Junior Level – 1+ Year Experience)

Aire Serv of Oak Park is hiring a Junior HVAC Technician who can handle basic residential service calls and is ready to grow into a stronger, more independent technician.

This is not a beginner role. You should already be able to diagnose routine residential HVAC issues and complete basic repairs from start to finish, with support available when needed.

What You’ll Do

  • Run basic residential service calls independently (with support as needed)
  • Diagnose common HVAC issues and complete repairs
  • Assist on installs and continue building technical skills
  • Use tools and diagnostic equipment correctly
  • Document work clearly in ServiceTitan
  • Identify and pass along upgrade opportunities to the team
  • Deliver a professional, respectful customer experience

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 12 months of hands-on residential HVAC service experience including diagnosing issues and completing basic repairs. Experience limited to assisting or on-call availability is not sufficient for this role.
  • Universal EPA Certification
  • Valid driver’s license with clean record. Background check required due to work in customers’ homes.
  • Comfortable using iPads and field service apps for job notes
  • Strong communication skills with customers
  • Reliable, consistent, and able to work independently
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship available).

Pay & Benefits

  • $20–$28/hour, based on experience
