Our family-owned, and locally-owned Aire Serv company is growing and looking for a Lead HVAC Installer to join our installation team. This role is ideal for a skilled technician who enjoys leading installations, mentoring helpers, and delivering professional heating and air conditioning installations that customers can rely on.

If you have strong experience with residential HVAC installation, furnace installation, AC installation, boilers, and ductwork, we want to talk with you.

Lead HVAC Installer Responsibilities

As a Lead HVAC Installer, you will install residential heating and cooling systems and lead installation projects from start to finish.

Residential HVAC Installation

• Install HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, condensers, air handlers, and boilers

• Perform AC installation and furnace installation for residential customers

• Install ductwork, thermostats, and indoor air quality (IAQ) products

• Ensure installations meet manufacturer specifications and local HVAC codes

System Startup & Quality Control

• Perform system start-ups and operational testing

• Verify proper airflow, refrigerant charge, and system performance

• Ensure clean, professional HVAC installations

Team Leadership

• Lead and coordinate installation crews

• Mentor installation helpers and apprentices

• Follow safety procedures and best practices

Customer Experience

• Communicate clearly with homeowners during installations

• Educate customers on system operation and maintenance

• Represent the Aire Serv brand professionally

HVAC Installer Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience

• Experience installing heating and air conditioning systems

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

• Ability to lift 60 lbs

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Professional attitude and strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications

• EPA Certification

• Experience as a Lead Installer or HVAC Technician

• Experience installing ductwork and IAQ products

• Boiler installation experience

Work Environment

This role may include working in:

• Attics

• Crawlspaces

• Tight mechanical areas

• Residential homes

Installers occasionally remain on site until the system is fully operational and the installation is completed properly.
