Painting Sales Estimator & Production Manager

Five Star Painting is hiring a Painting Estimator & Production Manager in the Phoenix - East Valley area. As a valued team member, you’ll follow up on leads, provide accurate estimates to potential customers, and close the deal so our team can refresh their property with new paint. Once the deal is closed, you'll schedule the project, communicate the progress of the project to customers, and finalize the project with a final walkthrough that meets customer needs.

Compensation: 5% commission on estimating + 5% commission on completed production, offering excellent earning potential for driven individuals.

This hybrid position is commission based, so being comfortable with knowing that you’re responsible for your own income is critical to finding success in this role.

Responsibilities

This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives in both client-facing and operational environments.

• Conduct on-site evaluations and prepare accurate painting estimates.
• Build strong client relationships and close sales.
• Oversee project scheduling, crew coordination, and quality control.
• Ensure timely completion of jobs with high customer satisfaction.
• Meet with customers to listen and understand their needs.
• Follow up with prospective clients and leads.
• Support the marketing efforts by promoting Five Star Painting.
• Self-generate additional referrals from existing customers and new leads.
• Guide project to completion to ensure proper close-out.

Requirements to be Successful

• Organized, detail-oriented and strive to deliver extremely accurate estimates.
• Maintain professional appearance and attitude when selling to customers.
• Team player who can also work independently if necessary.
• Prior experience in home service sales and production management is a plus.
• Personable, effective communication skills when working with strangers.
• Computer literate with working knowledge of work processing, business software and spreadsheet applications.
• Experience in residential or commercial painting preferred.
• Valid drivers license.
