Job Title: Warehouse/Shop Hand

Job Type: [Full-Time]

Job Summary:

As a Warehouse/Shop Hand, you are a key member of the team and represent Aire Serv in the shop and on the job site. You are responsible for maintaining an organized warehouse, assisting with material handling, preparing job orders, and supporting technicians with tools and supplies. You play a vital role in keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently.

You are self-motivated, energetic, and take pride in a clean and well-run shop. You are driven to support your team and take ownership of the daily tasks that help ensure customer satisfaction and field success.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Receive, stock, and organize HVAC parts, tools, and equipment
  • Prepare and stage materials for scheduled service and install jobs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and shop environment
  • Load and unload vehicles with care and efficiency
  • Assist with minor repairs, equipment prep, and tool/equipment maintenance
  • Register new HVAC systems with manufacturers and handle warranty claims
  • Track inventory and communicate shortages or reordering needs
  • Support technicians and office staff with daily operational needs
  • Perform other duties as needed, including cross-training in related positions

Job Requirements:

  • Warehouse, shop, or HVAC experience preferred
  • Basic mechanical or tool knowledge a plus
  • Reliable and able to lift up to 75 lbs
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Computer literacy for inventory tracking, registration, and basic data entry
  • Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain)
